Students at The Children’s House spent the last 3 weeks raising money for Heifer International. Students voted to raise $190, in order to donate a Gardener’s Basket, and a share of a llama. Students were so successful in their fundraising they surpassed their goal amount!
The Children’s House was also able to donate a share of a water buffalo, and a share of a pig. Total dollar amount raised was $217!! This money came from donations from students and our school community. Well done!
The students also enjoyed a festive week before Winter Break. On Tuesday the elementary students attended a showing of the movie “Hugo”. It was enjoyed by all.
Students in the preschool baked and iced cookies, and watched a holiday movie.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WINTER BREAK! SEE YOU ON JANUARY 9TH, 2012!
