The Children’s House is proud to announce that a student, Channing Helmling-Cornell, placed second in the Fifth Third Essay Contest. This contest was sponsored through IRT, in connection with their production of the play, “The Diary of Anne Frank”. Channing will be recognized at the awards ceremony at IRT on Friday, February 4. Congratulations Channing!

The Children’s House enrolled three new students in January. Welcome to Caleb, Joel, and Sunjot.
The preschool and Math Room students will be attending a Clowes Hall production of “Three Classics by Mercer Mayer” on Thursday, February 3.
Mrs. Sexson’s Literature Class will be attending the IRT production of “The Diary of Anne Frank” on Wednesday, February 9. As part of Channing Helmling-Cornell’s essay contest prize, the class will receive a complimentary pizza party at IRT following the play!
The Children's House was founded in 1971 to provide a classical education through individual instruction. Today, in an atmosphere free of competition, the child can discover his or her unique talents on the way to becoming a self actualized person. The Children's House offers primary education in Math, Science, Reading, and Art. Music, Yoga, Latin, Literature, History, and Dance are also integral components of the school's curriculum.
