103 in the Light: Selected Poems 1996-2000

Reading and Language Arts teacher, Mary Sexson, will be signing and selling copies of her book of poetry, “103 in the Light:  Selected Poems 1996-2000″ at the Indy Author’s Fair, on Saturday, October 9, 2010.

This event will take place in the Simon Room, at the Central Branch of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library.

Meet the Teachers Night

Teacher News

Shenena Hadley, our preschool teacher is a certified Montessori preschool teacher. She is certified through the North American Montessori Center. She completed her classes and received her certification in April of 2010.

Tristan Gilkey, our Latin teacher, will also be teaching science for the 2010-2011 school year.  He has been a member of our community, as a parent, for 3 years, and as a teacher for 2 years.  Mr. Gilkey is a Master’s Candidate in Classical Studies.

Our new art teacher is Elyssia McCormick.  She also comes to us from our parent community, and is a certified teacher in elementary education and ESL.

New School Year

Our new school year has begun! We’d like to welcome back our returning and new students.

The first nine weeks of our school year has a focus on architecture. Teachers recently toured the Frank Lloyd Wright House, SAMARA, in West Lafayette, Indiana, as a kick-off event to help plan our projects for this focus.

Teacher Update
